Colln was the twin town of Old Berlin, standing on the Fischerinsel section of Spree Island in what is now Germany from the 13th century onward. The two towns developed side by side for roughly five hundred years before Frederick I of Prussia merged them into a single city of Berlin in 1710. The former town's site now lies within the Mitte borough of Berlin.
