Colonae (Hellespont)

Colonae, also spelled Kolonai, was a town in the ancient Troad near Lampsacus on the Hellespont, in what is now Turkey, about two kilometers northwest of the modern village of Beycayiri. It was founded as a colony of the Greek city of Miletus.
