Colonia Ulpia Traiana was a Roman colonia located in the area of present-day Xanten, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, existing from approximately 100 to 275 CE as a major center of the province of Germania Inferior. The site is now occupied by the Archaeological Park Xanten and the LVR-RomerMuseum, and its remains are still being excavated and studied.
