Cranii, also known as Kranioi or Krane, was a Greek city on the island of Cephallenia, at the head of a bay on its western coast, and one of the island's four city-states alongside Pale, Pronnoi and Same. The city minted its own coins showing a ram's head or the bust of Procris or Kefalos on one side and a helmet, bow or ram's leg on the other, joined the Athenian alliance in 431 BC along with the other Cephallenian towns, and surrendered to the Romans without resistance in 189 BC.
