Črnomelj is a town in southeastern Slovenia and the seat of the Municipality of Črnomelj. It lies on the left bank of the Lahinja and Dobličica rivers at the heart of the White Carniola region, the southeastern part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola, and is now part of the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region. The town includes the hamlets of Čardak, Kočevje, Kozji Plac, Loka, and Nova Loka.
