Cyme, also known as Cumae, was an ancient Aeolian city in the region of Aeolis in western Turkey, near the kingdom of Lydia. It was also called Phriconian, possibly after Mount Phricion, where the Aeolian people are said to have settled before migrating to Asia Minor.
