Daet is the capital municipality of Camarines Norte province in the Bicol Region of the Philippines, established by the Franciscan order in 1583. Its 2024 census population was 106,465, and it is home to the first monument raised in honor of the Filipino hero Jose Rizal, unveiled in 1898.
