Depok is a landlocked city in West Java province, Indonesia, directly south of Jakarta, and is the third-largest urban center in the Greater Jakarta metropolitan area after Jakarta and Bekasi, covering about 200 square kilometers. Largely a residential commuter city for workers traveling into Jakarta, Depok is also home to the main campus of the University of Indonesia, one of the country's leading universities.
