Falasarna, also spelled Phalasarna, was a Greek harbour town at the western end of Crete that flourished during the Hellenistic period. Its visible remains include sandstone towers and bastions, fortification walls enclosing a closed harbour, and stone quays reached by two artificial channels, revealed by excavations that began in 1986.
