Farkhor is a city in Khatlon Region, southwestern Tajikistan, near the border with Afghanistan and the Panj River, serving as the capital of Farkhor District. Its population was about 25,300 as of January 2020, and it functions chiefly as an agricultural center in a fertile, irrigated valley known for cotton and fruit growing.
