Feira de Santana is Brazil's second most populous city in the state of Bahia, with 616,272 residents recorded in the 2022 census, located 100 kilometers northwest of Salvador and connected to it by the four-lane divided highway BR-324. Its name translates to Saint Anne's Fair in Portuguese.
