Geelong is a port city in Victoria, Australia, at the western end of Corio Bay and on the left bank of the Barwon River, about 75 kilometers southwest of Melbourne. With an estimated population of 282,809 in 2023, it is the second-largest city in Victoria and the administrative centre of the City of Greater Geelong, which covers the entire Bellarine Peninsula and stretches from Lara in the north to Waurn Ponds in the south.
