Gentinos

Western Asia

Gentinos was a town in the ancient Troad, in what is now northwestern Turkey. Its inhabitants are recorded in the tribute records of Athens between 452 and 444 BCE, showing that the city belonged to the Delian League, and Gentinos minted its own bronze coins inscribed with the letters GEN or GENTI.
