Gerung is a town on the island of Lombok in Indonesia's West Nusa Tenggara province, serving as the capital of West Lombok Regency in the Lesser Sunda Islands. As of a mid-2023 estimate the town had a population of about 93,592 people across an area of 62.30 square kilometers. It has a tropical monsoon climate, with moderate to little rainfall from May to October and heavy rainfall from November to April, and a fairly constant daily mean temperature of around 26 degrees Celsius.
