Golcuk is a municipality and district of Kocaeli Province in northwestern Turkey, with an area of about 217 square kilometers and a population of 175,940 as of 2022. It lies on the southern shore of the Gulf of Izmit, the easternmost inlet of the Sea of Marmara.
