Grynchae, also spelled Grynchai, was a town of ancient Euboea in Greece, possibly identifiable with place names recorded by the ancient geographer Stephanus of Byzantium under other spellings. It belonged to the Athenian-led Delian League, appearing in Athenian tribute records between 451 and 416 BC, and became a deme of the city of Eretria at the end of the fifth century BC. Its site is located near the modern town of Krieza. This description is adapted from Wikipedia contributors under CC BY-SA 4.0; changes were made. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/
