Gyzylarbat is a city in Balkan Province, Turkmenistan, northwest of the capital Ashgabat along the M37 highway toward the Caspian Sea. Known as Kyzyl-Arvat from 1881, it was renamed Serdar in 1999 before the Turkmen parliament restored the name Gyzylarbat by decree in November 2022.
