Hajdudorog is a town in Hajdu-Bihar County in the Northern Great Plain region of eastern Hungary, with archaeological evidence of habitation since Paleolithic times and written records dating to 1301. It is the seat of the Hungarian Greek Catholic Archeparchy of Hajdudorog, whose cathedral houses icons roughly two centuries old, and its economy rests on agriculture, particularly vineyards and cattle, along with its medicinal and thermal spa waters.
