Halki is a Greek island and municipality of about 28 square kilometers in the Dodecanese archipelago of the Aegean Sea, roughly 9 kilometers west of Rhodes, within the Rhodes regional unit. It has about 330 permanent residents, concentrated mainly in the village of Emporio, with the settlement of Chorio forming the island's other community.
