Hephaestia, also spelled Hephaistia, was an ancient Greek town on the northern shore of the island of Lemnos in the northern Aegean Sea, now an archaeological site. It was named for Hephaistos, the Greek god of metallurgy, whose cult was maintained on the island, and it was once the island's capital, of which only ruins remain.
