Holbæk is a town in Denmark and the seat of Holbæk municipality, in the northwestern part of Region Sjælland, with a population of 31,112 as of January 2026. It sits on the island of Zealand on the banks of Holbæk Fjord, an inlet of the larger Isefjord, and serves as a commercial and industrial center for the surrounding area, with rail service on the line from Roskilde to Kalundborg, a hub for regional bus routes, and an active seaport connecting by ferry to the island of Orø.
