Jinzhou, formerly known as Chinchow, is a coastal prefecture-level city in central-west Liaoning province, China. It sits in the Liaoxi Corridor, the strategic land link between North China and Northeast China, and serves as the economic center of western Liaoning. Located on the northern shore of Liaodong Bay, Jinzhou has a coastline of 97.7 kilometers, and its Port of Jinzhou is China's northernmost seaport.
