Jounieh is a coastal city in Keserwan District, about 16 kilometers north of Beirut, Lebanon, and since 2017 the capital of Keserwan-Jbeil Governorate. It is known for its seaside resorts and bustling nightlife, its old stone souk, ferry port, paragliding site, and a gondola lift carrying passengers up the mountain to the shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon in Harissa.
