Kabanjahe is a town in North Sumatra, Indonesia, about ninety minutes from Medan and just south of Berastagi. It is the largest center in Karo Regency, with an area of 44.65 square kilometers and a population of 73,581 at the 2020 census, and is connected to Berastagi by frequent buses making about a fifteen minute journey.
