Kajen is an administrative district and town in Central Java province, Indonesia, serving as the administrative center of Pekalongan Regency. It covers 75.15 square kilometers with a population of 58,048 at the 2010 census and 73,067 at the 2020 census, an official mid-2025 estimate of 80,919; the town itself, one of the district settlements alongside 24 rural villages, had 2,982 inhabitants as of mid-2023.
