Kazanlak

Kazanlak is a town in Stara Zagora Province, Bulgaria, in the Kazanlak Valley at the foot of the Balkan Mountains, forming the eastern part of the Rose Valley near the site of the ancient Thracian city of Seuthopolis. Known as the Town of Roses, it is the center of Bulgaria for rose oil extraction from Rosa damascena, a widely recognized national symbol, and ranks among the fifteen largest industrial centers in Bulgaria. As of 2021 it had a population of 47,918 across an area of 36.067 square kilometers.
