Kebumen is a town on the island of Java, Indonesia, and the administrative centre of Kebumen Regency in Central Java province. Its population was 118,847 at the 2010 census, rising to 131,750 at the 2020 census, with an official mid-2024 estimate of 135,374. The town is also known by the nicknames Swallow City, City of Tours, and the city of culture.
