Kiryat Gat is a city in the Southern District of Israel, lying 56 kilometers south of Tel Aviv, 43 kilometers north of Beersheba and 68 kilometers west-southwest of Jerusalem. It had a population of 72,140 in 2024 and hosts one of the most advanced semiconductor fabrication plants in the world, Intel's Fab 28, which produces 7 nanometer process chips.
