Kitzingen is a town in the German state of Bavaria and the capital of the district of Kitzingen, in the Franconia geographical region. It has around 21,000 inhabitants and is surrounded by vineyards; Kitzingen County is the largest wine producer in Bavaria, and the town is regarded as Franconia's wine trade center.
