Koszalin is a city in northwestern Poland, in the West Pomerania region, located 12 kilometers south of the Baltic Sea coast and intersected by the river Dzierzecinka. It holds county status in its own right and serves as the capital of Koszalin County within the West Pomeranian Voivodeship.
