Kraljevica is a town in the Kvarner region of western Croatia, in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County between Rijeka and Crikvenica, about 30 kilometers from Opatija, with 4,066 residents in the town proper and 2,415 in its urban core at the 2021 census. The settlement dates to at least the 13th century and is dominated by two medieval castles and a church associated with Croatian noble families, and it is known for a shipyard that has built ships for the Croatian navy. During the Second World War the town held an Italian-run concentration camp, and it is today a popular Adriatic tourist destination near the entrance to the Krk Bridge.
