Kramatorsk is a city and the administrative centre of Kramatorsk Raion in Donetsk Oblast, in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine, on the banks of the Kazennyi Torets river. Its population is 147,145, and it is an important industrial and mechanical engineering center in Ukraine. Since October 2014 it has served as the provisional seat of Donetsk Oblast following the war in Donbas.
