Löbau is a city in eastern Saxony, Germany, in the traditional region of Upper Lusatia. It lies between the slopes of the Löbauer Berg and the fertile hills of the Upper Lusatian Mountains, and sits roughly halfway between the cities of Bautzen, Görlitz and Zittau, serving as a gateway to the surrounding volcanic mountain area.
