Long Beach is a coastal city in southeastern Los Angeles County, California, with a population of about 450,000, making it the seventh most populous city in the state. It is home to one of the busiest container ports in the United States, the historic ocean liner Queen Mary permanently moored in its harbor, and a diverse waterfront economy spanning shipping, aerospace and tourism.
