Ludwigsburg is a city in Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany, about 12 kilometers north of Stuttgart's city centre, near the river Neckar. It is the largest and primary city of the Ludwigsburg district, with about 94,000 inhabitants, and sits within the Stuttgart Region, itself part of the Stuttgart administrative region (Regierungsbezirk).
