Malaybalay is a component city and the capital of Bukidnon province in the Northern Mindanao region of the Philippines, established as a municipality in 1907 and chartered as Bukidnon first component city in 1998. Its 2024 census population was 195,046, and it is known as the South Summer Capital of the Philippines and host of the Kaamulan Festival, the country only ethnic festival.
