Malita is a municipality and the capital of Davao Occidental province in the Davao Region of the Philippines, established in 1936 and made the province capital in 2013 when Davao Occidental was created. Its 2024 census population was 118,438, the most populous town in the province, and its economy centers on agriculture, fishery and tourism.
