Marcali is a town in Somogy County in the Southern Transdanubia region of Hungary, seat of Marcali District, lying fourteen kilometers south of Lake Balaton. As of 2017 it had 11,216 residents across 101.5 square kilometers and forms part of the Balatonboglar wine region. The town maintains sister city relationships with communities in Germany, Croatia, Italy and Romania.
