Martapura is the capital of Banjar Regency in South Kalimantan province, Indonesia, immediately north of the city of Banjarbaru. It consists of three districts within the regency, Martapura, West Martapura and East Martapura, with a combined population of 169,356 at the 2020 census and an official estimate of 181,064 in mid-2025.
