Maryborough is a city on the Mary River in the Fraser Coast Region of Queensland, Australia, about 255 kilometres north of Brisbane and 31 kilometres southwest of Hervey Bay. Founded in 1847, it recorded a population of 15,287 in its own suburb and 27,489 across its wider urban area at the 2021 census.
