Mati is a component city and the capital of Davao Oriental province in the Philippines, on the southeasternmost side of Mindanao and part of Metropolitan Davao. Its 2024 census population was approximately 148,672, the most populous in the province, and it is known as the City of Beautiful Bays for Pujada, Mayo and Balete bays, recognized internationally in 2022; part of the UNESCO World Heritage site Mount Hamiguitan lies within the city.
