Le Mont-Dore is a commune in the southern suburbs of Nouméa, New Caledonia, in South Province, with a 2019 population of about 27,620 spread across a large, sparsely built area of 643 square kilometers. Its population is ethnically mixed, including Europeans, Kanaks and Wallisian and Futunan communities, and it functions mainly as a residential extension of the capital.
