Muara Bungo is a town in Jambi province on the island of Sumatra, Indonesia, and serves as the administrative capital of Bungo Regency. It covers a land area of about 9.21 square kilometers and had a population of 21,243 at the 2020 census, comprising the five urban wards that make up the official town.
