Napier is a city in the Hawke's Bay region on the eastern coast of the North Island of New Zealand. A beachside city with a seaport, it is known for its sunny climate, its esplanade lined with Norfolk pines, and its extensive Art Deco architecture, for which it is sometimes called the Nice of the Pacific.
