Naxxar is a city and local council in Malta Northern Region with a population of 18,063 as of July 2024, occupying an eleven square kilometer plateau. The area shows evidence of human habitation dating back to prehistoric times, and its parish church, dedicated to Our Lady of Victories, holds its annual village feast on 8 September.
