Neonteichos was an ancient Aeolian town near the coast of Mysia in western Asia Minor, situated between the Hermus River and the town of Larissa. According to Strabo the town was older than Cyme, though another account holds it was founded eight years after Cyme, as a fortified outpost against the Pelasgians of Larissa.
