Noro is a town on the western shore of New Georgia Island in Solomon Islands' Western Province. Its economy centers on a large tuna cannery, formerly owned by Taiyo Fisheries and now run as SolTuna, making Noro the country's second largest town after the Honiara urban area, with a 2019 population of 7,204, and a key node in the Pacific tuna supply chain.
