Ocho Rios is a town in the parish of Saint Ann on the north coast of Jamaica, known locally as Ochi. It grew from a small fishing village into a popular tourist destination with duty free shopping, a cruise ship terminal and several beaches and resorts, and also hosts cargo ships at the Reynolds Pier for exporting sugar and limestone. Its estimated population in 2011 was 16,671, about ten percent of the total population of Saint Ann.
