Oeniadae, also spelled Oiniadai or Oeneiadae, was a town in ancient Acarnania on the west bank of the Achelous River, about 10 miles from its mouth. Strongly fortified by nature and by art and surrounded by extensive marshes that made it hard to approach in winter, it was one of the most important Acarnanian towns and controlled the fertile district called Paracheloitis on both sides of the river.
