Pannonhalma, called Gyorszentmarton until 1965, is a town in Gyor-Moson-Sopron county in western Hungary, home to a little under 4,000 people about 20 kilometers south-southeast of Gyor. The town is home to the Benedictine Pannonhalma Archabbey, the oldest surviving religious and educational institution in Hungary and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
